Collection of T-DNA lines (genotype Bd21)

Number of T-DNA lines available (April 2010): 4,500

  • T1 seeds are available for all T-DNA insertion lines and can be requested online from the John Innes Centre.
  • T2 seeds are available for some lines with T-DNA insertion near genes with identified function
BrachyTAG, Brachypodium T-DNA plant lines

Seeds are provided as a community resource and distributed with a simple Material Transfer Agreement (for research only) which provides recipients freedom to use the materials in any way they wish without any claims being made from the John Innes Centre on rights to intellectual property or income streams which may be generated by the use of the materials. The use of T-DNA lines or FST-related information generated by the BrachyTAG programme should be acknowledged by cross referencing “BrachyTAG programme (Thole et al. 2009)” in publications or “BrachyTAG” in presentations.

A small fee is charged for seed handling and shipment.

Table updated April 2010

The name of each T-DNA line provides information regarding which genotype and gene construct was used to produce it. Example: line BdAA115 = genotype Bd21 (Bd), transformed with gene construct pVec8-GFP (AA), plant line 115.

Table: Genotype and gene constructs used to produce Brachypodium T-DNA lines.
